Research at Home and Around the World

An important part of my research is training undergraduate and graduate student colleagues in the design and implementation of their own biomarker research. The projects carried out by these students included the effects of caffeine on cortisol levels, the effects of public speaking and math tests on cortisol levels, the effects of fasting on women’s testosterone levels, the effects of smelling bacon on men’s testosterone levels after they have fasted, and whether tea could bring elevated cortisol levels down.
