Use of education content provided by this web site

The general conditions for use of content (“Material”) provided at this site are as follows.

  1. By using the Material, you (“User”) agree to these terms and conditions; if you do not agree, do not use the Material. Material provided on this website are for non-profit education and research use only. Commercial use of the Material requires additional permission from the University of Washington.
  2. User may use the Material internally within User’s institution at no charge. User may not distribute, publish, or otherwise make available Material to parties outside User’s institution without written permission from the UW. User agrees not to make modifications to Material without permission from the UW.
  3. User shall retain all copyright, trademark, and other proprietary notices as provided in the Material.
  4. UW reserves the right to modify, update and change the Material without notice to User. It is the responsibility of User to use any such revisions as developed by UW.
  5. The Material is intended for use by medical professionals. If User is not a medical professional, User has no right to use the Material. User acknowledges and agrees that the information contained in Material is intended as a supplement to, and not a substitute for, User’s knowledge, expertise, skill and professional judgment. UW makes no representations or warranty on the accuracy, validity, completeness or availability of information or results of the Material.   7. In consideration for the rights granted herein, User hereby releases and agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the UW, its officers, regents, employees, students and agents from any action, suit, claim, or proceeding arising from User’s use of the Materials.
