Rick has been using the awesome Shifting Baselines media in his teaching for years (I especially like their earlier work featuring Jack Black, such as the Ocean Symphony).  Now, in collaboration with the Puget Sound Partnership, Shifting Baselines has produced a new 5-minute flash video about Puget Sound.

<p><span id="more-32"></span> Our work on <a href="http://depts.washington.edu/aog/?page_id=6">Spices</a> is mentioned briefly, and a couple pictures taken by our students are used in <a target="_blank" href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=nkUEYbCSTnk">the flash presentation.  Watch it now</a>!  Thanks to Kevin Turner (UW &#8211; SAFS alumni) who remembered Rick and our work, and who survived undegrad classes from Rick (apparently without too many scars).  Great job on the video Kevin!</p>
