ESRI User Conference Complimentary Registration request

2016 ESRI User Conference

This year's ESRI User Conference (once again in sunny San Diego, California) is coming soon. Dates are:

June 25-28, 2016 (Educational Conference)
June 27-July 1, 2016 (General Conference)

Educational institution attendees who are registered for the General UC can attend the Educational UC at no additional cost.

The Washington State Institutions of Public Higher Education (WIPHE) site license gives us 16 seats, as apportioned below:

If you are from anywhere other than those institutions listed above, please do not fill out this form. Your request will be ignored. If you are not a faculty or staff member or one of these institutions, or are not enrolled as a student at one of these institutions at the time of the conference, please do not fill out this form.

These seats cover only the cost of the conference registration. Attendees are responsible for all other arrangements (travel, lodging, and food).

There are a number of ESRI-subsidized registrations for students that cover more than just the registration fee (for seniors or graduate students).

The educational registration fee is $495 for the full week. If you are not selected to use one of the complimentary seats, you can always register with that discount.

We want to see that all of these seats get used. If one institution does not use all their seats, we will shuffle them to different institutions as we approach the deadline.

To request a seat, fill out the form below. You will receive an e-mail message confirming your request. Selections will be based on your utility to Washington State Public Higher Education. You will be notified by e-mail when selections are completed. If you are selected, you will be contacted for a final confirmation that you intend to use the registration.

Request deadline for 1st round of selections: February 1, 2015. Priority for selections will be given to those who are presenting papers, posters, and/or who work on important projects or support the most users at their respective institutions.

Use your "official" institutional address rather than gmail, hotmail, etc. so we can verify your standing. Failure to do so will result in you NOT being considered for a seat.
If you are faculty, provide the URL to your personal institutional web page for verification of your standing. Failure to do so may result in delays.
If you are a student, include the name of your advisor (who can vouch for your eligibility). If you do not provide this information you will not be considered for a seat. If you are staff or faculty, enter "NA".
If you are a student, include your faculty advisor's official e-mail address. Do not use gmail, hotmail, etc. addresses. If you are staff or faculty, enter your own e-mail address.
I assume any financial risks due to cancellation of hotel registrations and/or travel costs. I will only be allowed to register if I agree to these terms.
I acknowledge that the complimentary conference registration covers only the admittance to the User Conference and the Educational User Conference. Payment for all other related activities, including but not limited to, travel, lodging, food, other pre-conference seminars or workshops, are my personal responsibility. I will only be allowed to register if I agree to these terms.
