Home of the Kinnear Husky Squadron

Welcome to the University of Washington, home of the Kinnear Husky Squadron. This is where many of the brightest minds and strongest leaders in the nation come to teach, and promising students to learn.

Since 1862 the University of Washington Department of Military Science has helped thousands of students learn to become stronger leaders among their student peers.

The UW ROTC Program does this through classroom lessons, leadership training labs, peer mentorship, and hands-on experience in leadership and time-management skills. Students are taught from the ground up, first how to be a good team player, then a small team leader, and eventually part of the staff that leads the program of over 100 students.
