Faculty and students in Asian Languages and Literature are engaged in a variety of exciting research projects. Some, like Professor Richard Salomon's Early Buddhist Manuscripts Project, are large-scale, long-term collaborative endeavors partially supported by outside funding. Others might involve a single professor engaging in six months of research to produce an ground-breaking academic paper.
