The graduate students of the Department of Asian Languages
and Literature at the University of Washington,
Seattle, are proud to present the annual Graduate
Student Colloquium in Asian Studies. This colloquium
is designed specifically for graduate students in all
disciplines of Asian Studies and provides an excellent
opportunity to share your work with fellow graduate students
and to gain experience in presenting papers in a professional
but amicable environment.
We welcome submissions from graduate students working
in all areas of Asian studies, including but not limited
to, anthropology, art history, communications, comparative
literature, ethnomusicology, film studies, geography, history,
international relations, linguistics, sociology, and women's
studies.
Colloquium Details
Colloquium Proceedings will be published and distributed
to attendees.
Sponsored by the graduate students of the Department
of Asian Languages and Literature; The East Asia Center,
South Asia Center, Southeast Asia Center, China, Japan,
and Korean Studies Programs of the Jackson School of International
Studies, University of Washington.
