The Workshop is a non-profit university-government-private sector partnership based in Seattle to address the social and environmental challenges and opportunities facing urban growth in China and the U.S. The program has seed funding provided by the U.S. Department of Education through the University of Washington, in cooperation with the State of Washington, King County, and the City of Seattle.<\/p>\n
The program introduces practical tools and policies for local sustainable development, as well as expert insight on fundamental differences in politics, social structures, law, and economics of urbanization in the two countries. Participants will have a unique opportunity to work together on solutions to actual development cases they bring to the exchange. Site visits to relevant projects in the Seattle region are also part of the program.<\/p>\n
\u7814\u8ba8\u4f1a\u4e3a\u975e\u76c8\u5229\u6027\u7684\u7814\u8ba8\u4ea4\u6d41\u6d3b\u52a8, \u90e8\u5206\u7684\u7ecf\u8d39\u7531\u7f8e\u56fd\u6559\u80b2\u90e8\u8d5e\u52a9\u3002 \u7814\u8ba8\u4f1a\u5c06\u4ecb\u7ecd\u4e2d\u7f8e\u57ce\u4e61\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u53d1\u5c55\u53ef\u64cd\u4f5c\u6027\u5de5\u5177\u53ca\u76f8\u5173\u653f\u7b56\uff0c\u5e76\u7531\u4e13\u5bb6\u8bba\u8ff0\u4e2d\u7f8e\u4e24\u56fd\u57ce\u5e02\u5316\u653f\u7b56\u3001\u793e\u4f1a\u7ed3\u6784\u3001\u6cd5\u5f8b\u53ca\u7ecf\u6d4e\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u5f02\u540c\u3002\u53c2\u4e0e\u8005\u5c06\u6709\u7279\u522b\u7684\u673a\u4f1a\u4ea4\u6d41\u7814\u8ba8\u4e0d\u540c\u7684\u4e2d\u7f8e\u5730\u65b9\u6848\u4f8b\uff0c\u5bfb\u6c42\u89e3\u7b54\u8bf8\u5982\u201c\u5982\u4f55\u5728\u5229\u7528\u6cd5\u89c4\u7684\u540c\u65f6\u91c7\u53d6\u5408\u4f5c\u7684\u5f62\u5f0f\u6765\u89e3\u51b3\u6709\u5173\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u53d1\u5c55\u8981\u6c42\uff1f\u201d\u7b49\u95ee\u9898\u3002\u76ee\u524d\uff0c \u6ca1\u6709\u5176\u5b83\u4efb\u4f55\u9879\u76ee\u80fd\u50cf\u6b64\u7814\u8ba8\u4f1a\u4e00\u6837,\u5c06\u4e13\u4e1a\u5b66\u4e60\u4e0e\u76f8\u4e92\u4ea4\u6d41\u76f8\u7ed3\u5408.<\/p>\n
<\/a><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Government policy makers, urban planning, design and engineering professionals; developers; local and civic leaders operating at the scale of housing and neighborhood developments; civic or business campuses; urban redevelopment, or open space. Participants should have experience and interest in sustainable practices and\/or in Chinese development.<\/p>\n \u7814\u8ba8\u4f1a\u6b22\u8fce\uff1a\u5236\u8ba2\u57ce\u4e61\u5f00\u53d1\u653f\u7b56\u7684\u653f\u5e9c\u5b98\u5458, \u57ce\u5e02\u89c4\u5212\u3001\u8bbe\u8ba1\u3001\u548c\u5de5\u7a0b\u7684\u4e13\u4e1a\u4eba\u5458\uff0c\u5f00\u53d1\u5546\uff0c\u4ece\u4e8b\u4f4f\u623f\u4e0e\u793e\u533a\u5efa\u8bbe\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u9886\u5bfc, \u6587\u5316\u56ed\u533a\u3001\u5546\u4e1a\u56ed\u533a\u3001\u57ce\u5e02\u66f4\u65b0\u3001\u6216\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u95f4\u5efa\u8bbe\u7684\u53c2\u4e0e\u8005\u3002\u53c2\u52a0\u8005\u5e94\u6709\u6d89\u53ca\u57ce\u4e61\u53d1\u5c55\u5efa\u8bbe\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u5b9e\u8df5\u7ecf\u9a8c\u4ee5\u53ca\u5bf9\u4e2d\u7f8e\u4e24\u56fd\u7684\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u53d1\u5c55\u5efa\u8bbe\u611f\u5174\u8da3\u3002<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n The Workshop is organized under the joint auspices of the University of Washington’s Center for Asian Urbanism and Department of Urban Design and Planning in the College of Built Environments, the East Asia Center in the Henry M.
