Who are we?

We are the student chapter of the Puget Sound ASPRS Region. The chapter is housed at the University of Washington, but membership is open to all studens in the Puget Sound ASPRS Region. We are affiliated with the UW Geopspatial Club.

What is ASPRS?

Founded in 1934, the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing is a scientific association serving over 7,000 professional members around the world.

Our Mission

The mission of t he ASPRS is to advance knowledge and improve understanding of mapping sciences and to promote the responsible applications of photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), and supporting technologies.
