Our next meeting will be on Friday 8/22 from 2:00pm-3:00pm in the 1st floor conference room.
Following is the updated to-do list as a result of yesterday's meeting. Please look for your name (or group name) in the following list -- I'm hoping we can get as many of these tasks done as possible by the next meeting so that we can be ready to begin mass migration. I realize that a couple of folks bear the brunt of the to-do list... (at least the to-do list is getting shorter :)

Project Summary of Tasks for Aagaard Migration
- Key tasks before migration: - Complete MCIS migration plan - Incorporate current policy document in order to proceed w/migration - Ensure authentication file complete - Test migration scripts via small scale migration (beta in progress) - Deal with issues needing attention identified in beta (in progress) ********
To-do list as of 8/14/97
o MCIS support team is deciding how they want to phase the mass migration o Bill will coordinate this - a proposal of their plan will be made to the migration team - final proposal will require approval from steering committee
o First time login prompt explaining aagaard use policy, requires usr response - Policy statement will also be sent to every user via email - Bill U. will add policy doc to web pages
o Update doc for clinicians o Bill U. will coordinate the following: - the migration team & John Russell will review all docs - will email URL to doc and policy to all clinicians - Eliot will supply email addresses (using SS#s) to MCIS support for mass mailing (needed also to announce)
o Homer account mgmt - Eliot will verify that clinician accounts don't exist on homer, 30 days after the clinician migrates to aagaard (clinician's will not have accounts on aagaard and homer)
o Migration script - Bill will send Eliot subject text for info on inbox msg
o Resolve any issues around providing validation file info (user/SSN/DOB) - Bill is coordinating and is close to finishing (note: this is a difficult one)
o Coordinate expiration of Aagaard accts with SDB and HEPPS - Eliot will coordinate with Yonah
o Complete doc on how to config PC/Mac to access aagaard via dialup - Bill has written this and will put on web for review
o "Beta 2" pilot migration - - MCIS still migrating beta users
o UW Policy and Standards doc on clinical e-mail on aagaard o Revisions to the policy doc are expected beyond migration

o Will address MCIS proposal for how to phase the mass migration.
Post Migration
o A policy for accommodating affiliates will have to be decided -- this will impact how aagaard accounts and authentication are handled
o Address policy issue of group e-mail accounts for clinic teams
o Address issue of whether aagaard should be one of the choices on the public terminals in the main health sciences library
