1) Yesterday around 3:30 (3:28 to be exact) we took niven01 (Kerberos primary) off the network. Lab authentication immediately switched over to niven02, the secondary. We reconnected it to the network and updating continued. I was on the phone with lab folks and they did not see any disruption of service.

2) The next tests should probably be on bud and bud's backup (named "dub" or "bud02"). We'll need to do this later this week. David told me today that we shouldn't see any more connections to simba02, so Steve can now create a bud backup.

3) Donn is working on a monitor for Operations which will determine if the Kerberos service is not authenticating users.

4) It sounds like other anomalies have been resolved.
