Multimedia Servers

Description of Project

This project involves setting up streaming video on multimedia servers to clients. There are three pairs of servers, each pair dedicated to a particular video CODEC. The three CODECs currently supported are Real Video, VXtreme and Netshow. All servers run Windows NT.

Status as of 11/06/97

The Real Video server is online and operational. The other two pairs of servers are awaiting test clips in their respective formats. More hardware is expected to arrive, which will involve additional installs.
