The UW Astrobiology Program at the University of Washington is an international leader
in multidisciplinary collaboration and education. Our program participants include fifteen
graduate students, three postdoctoral researchers, and twenty faculty representing nine
departments. Our Graduate Certificate Program in Astrobiology is training a new breed of
scientist whose expertise and methodologies transcend the boundaries of traditional
discipline-based investigation.

into new frontiers of interdisciplinary graduate education and scientific research.
