ROCK RIOT RUN

ABOUT THE EVENT:

ATTENTION: the date of the event has changed to May 1st, 2011

Join us for an exciting 5K run/walk on the University of Washington campus to raise awareness of sexual assault and relationship violence on our campus.

In order to participate, you need to bring a donation to the registration table on the day of the run. The donation will be given to the Eastside Domestic Violence Program (EDVP) (www.edvp.org) for use in their shelters and apartment complexes. Alternatively, you may provide a monetary donation directly to EDVP. Please bring a confirmation of your contributions if you choose to do so. Your donation will support survivors of sexual assault and relationship violence as well as ensure your participation in the Rock Riot Run event.

All participants will receive a complimentary Rock Riot Run t-shirt. Food, beverages, and prizes will also be available. Race results and photos will be provided after the event. Be sure to bring your friends, family, and fellow Huskies!

10:00 AM Registration/Check-In Begins
11:00 AM Welcome and Guest Speakers
11:20 AM 5K Run/Walk Begins
12:00 PM Prize Give Away, Refreshments and Food, Information Booth

ROUTE INFORMATION:

The 5K run/ walk will include a scenic waterfront trail. Park in E5 parking lot (entrance behind E1) off of Montlake Ave.
