Want to run away with the circus? In this class, we'll fly, dance, soar and spin on trapezes in a safe, fun and supportive environment. Trapeze students will build strength and gain an understanding of basic aerial technique on single point trapeze as we learn mounts and dismounts and basic aerial vocabulary with an emphasis on proper form and technique. Conditioning exercises for the core and upper body will also be included in each class. No previous dance training or aerial experience required, but participants should be physically fit, with a fair amount of upper body and hand strength. Georgetown.
