B4T Member Wins Research Day Award
Second-year student Paul Lutgen won the first place research day award for his poster presentation on the effects of silver diamine fluoride on dentin bond strength. The study was performed under supervision of Dr. Sadr at B4T. Paul spent the whole summer working on the project in the lab, and will present his results at the upcoming IADR/AADR 2017 conference in San Francisco. He is also invited by the research committee to represent our school at the upcoming ADA Warner-Lambert Research Conference. Special thanks to our pre-dental student member Natasha Paranjapye for her work in preparation and obtaining the SEM images for this exciting project.
