He also co-directs the B4T lab as a Principal Investigator. Internationally recognized for his work in advanced imaging and dental materials science, Dr. Sadr has been instrumental in advancing optical coherence tomography (OCT) from a research technology into a clinically relevant diagnostic modality. He has authored more than 200 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and patents in collaboration with global academic and industry partners. His excellence as a clinician-scientist has been recognized with numerous honors, including the IADR Dental Materials Career Award and the UW Rothwell Teaching Award. Above all, Dr. Sadr is a passionate educator, mentor, and innovator committed to advancing the future of dental care.
