The students should commit to at least 1 year (minimum 6 hours\/wk) of work, have excellent writing skills and be willing to collaborate towards presenting\/publishing of the research project findings. See <a href=\"https:\/\/expo.uw.edu\/expo\/opportunities?contact_person=sadr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Current Undergraduate Research Opportunities<\/a>\u00a0for more details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dental Students (SURF)<br \/>\n<\/strong>The<a href=\"https:\/\/dental.washington.edu\/research\/student-research\/get-involved\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> SURF program<\/a> offers an opportunity to work on a research project under the direction of a faculty member. Stipend and allowance for research expenses are provided by the Office of Research. We have one position available for the program each year in Dr. Sadr&#8217;s lab.
