Welcome to the Social and
Emotional Development Laboratory (SEDL) web site!
The SEDL is led by Dr. Betty Repacholi and is
located at the Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences
(I-LABS). Our work utilizes infant imitation studies to
uncover the role emotions play in early childhood
learning. We are concerned with infants' responses
to other people's emotional signals and determining what
they understand about these communications.
Please select an item from above to read more about our
work and who we are. We hope you enjoy your visit!
