The Primer Designer

The following form will take the inputed DNA sequence search for the coding for the inputed Amino Acid sequence, and use this information to give all possible primers that could be used to make the desired mutation using Stratagene's Quickchange Site Directed Mutagenesis kit. Make sure that a sub-sequence of the DNA sequence that you input codes for the entire submitted amino acid sequence. Also, as in the example data below, mutation position will be calculated relative to the first amino acid in the submitted amino acid sequence (i.e. the left-most amino acid will be considered position "1").
input DNA sequence here (only "A,a,C,c,G,g,T, or t" will be considered):

Amino Acid Sequence of Protein starting with position "1" (use standard one-letter/amino-acid representation)

Postition to be mutated (where position "1" is the leftmost amino acid in the sequence above)
Amino Acid to be substituted into the original sequence (use standard one letter representation)

Input primer restrictions here:

Minimum Tm (oC)
Minimum %GC
Minimum Primer length (# of bases)
Maximum Number of Base Mutations
