We stayed in Kuressaare, where this castle is a very impressive feature of the town (and the best preserved castle in the Baltics). |

Along with Kuressaare Castle, wonderful dairy products, and windmills, Saaremaa is also known for the curative powers of its mudbaths, so my dad and I wanted to try them out. Here’s a picture of the ones at the Meri Spa. Floating in hot mud is pretty amazing! |
