Best Practices
This year we are fortunate to have the Best Practices Competition coordinated by Emelissa Baluyot. Emelissa and her team took first place at the 2005 BAP National Conference in San Francisco for their winning Best Practices presentation. Emelissa will be available for chapters and presenters to consult as they conduct their projects and prepare presentations. Contact Emelissa Baluyot atBest Practices Resources

- Guidelines for Preparation of Abstracts
- February Letter to Chapters
Abstracts of all best practice presentations must be received by the host chapter and Bill Wells- Regional Director not later than March 8th, 2006.
These abstracts will be reviewed by the Host chapter and Regional Director and chapters will be notified if their proposal (abstract) has been accepted. If the abstract is not received by March 8th, your chapter may still present but that effort will not be eligible for any prizes nor will it qualify for presentation at the national conference. Best practice submissions/presentations will be judged on the timeliness and clarity of your abstract as well as the presentation.
