10:00-11:00am Keynote Address on the Theme of Financial Literacy by Robert Headley-Former Vice President, Finance and Treasurer of Starbucks Coffee Company currently a partner with the venture capital group, Ignition.
11:00-12:15pm Lunch - The South Campus Center offers a variety of lounge areas and booths overlooking Portage Bay. Box lunches will be provided for attendees. Board, Forum, and Chapter Presidents meet during lunch.

Technical Session Descriptions
Attendees will choose from seven technical session topics:

Retirement Planning-Erica Heinrich, CFP(r), CFS, and Lars Landrie, CFP from Financial Security Group, LLC will cover the most important retirement planning principles for conference attendees to keep in mind as they move from the college environment to their professional careers.

What Financial Statements tell us about the Market's Relative Valuation of firms-Amanda Salter-Yuh, Manager, Global Downstream Competitive Analysis & Strategy for Chevron Products Co. will share her view of how equity markets assess the value of Integrated Oil Companies. She'll provide an overview of the industry drivers that form the basis for valuation as well as the key differentiators that determine relative value across the peer group. By sharing some specific analysis of Chevron and their peer group performed over the years, Amanda will demonstrate how financial statement analysis can offer insights useful to decision makers about relative market value.

Abusive Tax Schemes-Special Agent Todd Peterson of the United States Internal Revenue Service will outline the characteristics of these pitfalls that have captured so much recent media attention. Attendees will benefit by learning to identify and avoid dubious tax avoidance strategies.

Starting a Business-Local entrepreneurs Sarah Bee and Eileen Sikkema will share their experience of starting and running a successful business. Entrepreneurially minded attendees will benefit from the perspective provided by these two business partners.

Microsoft Excel Workshop-Betsy Scott, Director of Audit for HNTB, an Engineering/Architectural firm with offices across the United States, will provide training in Excel that will put attendees a step ahead as they enter their professional careers. Sessions will be conducted in a computer lab.

Home Buying vs. Rent Analysis-This session will provide attendees with the skills necessary to make a well informed decision as to whether to buy or rent a home. (Presenter to be determined)
