Job Description

Position: Supply Chain Management
Hrs/Wk: 10 – 18
Academic Credit: Available
Compensation: Negotiable
Business Type: For Profit
Application Deadline: December 9. 2013 (if applying for academic credits for the winter quarter)

Do you have a…
Primary interest in the manufacturing and supply industry?
Demonstrated knowledge of medical technology products and systems?
Experience with ops management systems and software?
Solid business background and writing abilities?
Winning attitude? Demonstrated a self-starter?

If so, then The Next Phase® team is interested in speaking with you.
The Next Phase, Inc. (TNP), based in Redmond, WA, is positioning its SidePinch
Clamp (SPC) business for double digit growth starting in 2014. Over the past few years
the firm has invested in diversification and IP. We are growing our SPC business from a
repackaging/relabeling start-up to a manufacturing company. Rooted in TNP‘s original
custom technology consulting services, the company has been successfully operating
since 1995.

Now open TNP has a business operations position available to perform
purchasing, inventory control and shipping functions serving a variety of biotech
and biomedical customers. In 2014, your proven performance can lead to
manufacturing management responsibilities.

We would be interested in you joining us on an internship, work-study or independent
study basis. If you are a strong self-starter and are motivated to move beyond this
entry level position to become a significant contributor to this internationally
known component supply house, we are interested in you.

Your junior business ops internship can be based on credit hours developed in
cooperation with your UWB advisor/professor or at a competitive employment rate based
upon your experience, demonstrated analytical and written ability and aptitude. Aptitude
will be judged based on your and your professor’s assessment, examples of your
independent work, telecon and in-person interviews.

TNP will initially provide the office space and computer onsite. We offer flextime as well
to allow for your class attendance. The position would initially require 10-18 hours per
week on average throughout the fall/winter/spring quarters, part of that time working
onsite with our team. Based on your performance this position could extend into the
summer quarter and beyond offering more hours per week, or could even grow into fulltime
employment after you graduate. We offer a bonus for proven experience in the
biomedical operations and manufacturing industry.
