Spring 2012 Pecha Kucha | Labratory and Lens
Date: Monday April 2nd
Time: 5:30 - 7 pm
Location: UW Gould Court
"Platform" is a quarterly pecha kucha series investigating work on rich and varying themes in the design professions in order to create dialogue and transdisciplinary networking opportunities between students, faculty and professionals of the College of Built Environments.

The Platform series Pecha Kucha Night, consists of around a dozen presentations, each presenter having 20 slides, each shown for 20 seconds on a timer. Thus, each presenter has just 6 minutes and 40 seconds to explain their ideas before the next takes the stage. Conceived as a venue through which young designers could meet, show their work, exchange ideas, and network, the format keeps presentations concise and fast-paced.
This years theme will be Laboratory and Lens - focusing on the myriad projects taking place in the CBE labs and travel experiences of study abroad as told from the student perspective.
