International Children's Park Redux

Students helped redesign the only park for children in Downtown Seattle

Located in Seattle's International District, the International Children's Park is the only park for children in downtown. Outreach and redesign of the park began in 2007 through a design studio and intergenerational design workshop developed in collaboration with the WILD youth program in the district. The project received funds from the Parks and Green Spaces Levy and other public and private sources. The construction was completed this month, and the new park was dedicated on March 3.
