Dr. Vesna Zderic won the $2,000 Gold Prize for the Young Investigator Award at the World Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology 11th congress, held in Seoul, Korea, May 28-June 1. She is a senior fellow in Dr. Shahram Vaezy’s lab.
