UWEB’s 1st International Symposium on Wound Healing and Technology (WHAT I) will be August 28-30 at the UW. The deadline for poster abstracts is this Friday, July 28. Dr. Buddy Ratner and Dr. Andy Branca are co-chairs. Dr. Matt O’Donnell, the new CoE dean, will speak at the opening reception and poster session. Building Power Shutdown

• building-wide power outages will occur between 6am and 8am this Thursday, July 27th
• consider this your lab's opportunity to test what would happen to your equipment in an unplanned power outage -- does your equipment come back on, or do you need to reset it manually?
• the building's regular power will be shut off for up to half an hour at a time, up to three times
• the building's emergency power is only expected to be down for about ten seconds at a time, up to three times
