Research Projects – UW Coulter Translational Research Partnership Program

The Coulter Program funds 5-6 biomedical research projects per year.The awards aim to increase the number of effective collaborations between clinicians and engineers, and support the development of promising technologies to clinical application. Each project is led by a team of a clinician and engineer, with at least one of those people having a faculty-level appointment at UW.

Awardees receive $100,000 in funding as well as access to resources to assist with project commercialization, including regulatory and reimbursement consulting, primary and secondary market analysis, and access to local entrepreneurs and the angel and venture investment community.
