BioE student on venture capital winning team
Bernard Brady, a Bioengineering graduate student, and MBA team members recently took first place in a regional venture capital investment competition. The team evaluated real business plans and made investment allocation decisions, then defended those decisions to a panel of venture capatilists.
The UW team won the 2009 Silcon Valley Regional Venture Capital Investment Competition and will compete in the nationals in April.
Bernard became involved with the team through the Entrepreneurship Graduate Certificate offered to science and business graduate students through the UW School of Business. (3/16/09)
