Research Description:
The Zheng research group is interested in understanding the fundamental structure and functions in living tissue and organ systems from nanometer, micrometer to centimeter scale. Our recent research focus is on designing and engineering the functional units in our body by integrating the knowledge of biology and medicine, transport phenomena, matrix mechanics, and microfluidic technologies. We aim to lead our research towards clinical applications for regenerative tissue and organs, therapeutic applications and health industry.
