Neural engineering: brain computer interfaces, control of electrical stimulation (including deep brain stimulation), neural security, assistive devices for human-machine interaction..
Telerobotics: control, haptic interfaces, security.
Work on the design, development and evaluation of control systems where there is a “human in the loop”–either as a component subsystem or source of control inputs. Applications of this in neural engineering and telerobotics.
