2007 Bioengineering Summer Camp
August 6-10, 2007
University of Washington Seattle campus
Foege Bioengineering Building
The Bioengineering Summer Camp is an active 5-day experience for students who will be entering 9th or 10th grade in September of 2007. Bioengineering summer campers will learn how UW bioengineers are tackling heart disease, our country’s number one killer. Guided by faculty, staff, and students, campers engage in hands-on exploration of cardiac mechanics, implants, tissue engineering, bloodless surgery, imaging, and more. Students will discover how bioengineers work to save lives by pushing the edges of knowledge in science and technology.
