Research

Dr. Gelb's research is in 3 areas: 1) Production of lipid mediators by phospholipases A2 as it relates to inflammation; 2) design and synthesis of new drugs for the treatment of tropical diseases (malaria and others); 3) development of new methods and reagents for quantitative proteomics and analysis of inborn errors of metabolism.
