- Supports
graduate students in the broad area of cancer research.
- Defrays
conference expenses for as many as four graduate students each year.
All graduate students working in Biochemistry research groups are
eligible.
- To apply,
submit an informal, free-form, one-page application explaining how your
work relates to cancer, and why you would like to attend a particular
conference. Applications are considered four times each year (September
1, December 1, March 1, June 1).
- You do
not have to be an expert in the field or have results to present, but
the selection process will favor students who are making presentations
or can argue that attendance will advance their career plans.
- Award
committee consists of three faculty (Dave Morris, Trisha Davis, and
Steve Hauschka) and two senior graduate students (Richard Frock and
Kristan Steffen).
