All registered participants and registered guests are invited to attend the Opening Reception on Sunday, August 29 and the Banquet at the Museum of Flight on Wednesday, September 1.

The Opening Reception will be held on McMahon Hall patio from approximately 8:30 to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 29 - immediately following Stan Fields' Keynote Address. Beverages and light hors d'oeuvres will be served. McMahon Hall is located just a short walk north from the HUB and the patio offers stunning views of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier. If the weather will not cooperate for an outdoor event, the reception will be moved to By George, in the lower level of Odegaard Undergraduate Library.

The Banquet will be held on Wednesday, September 1 from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. at The Museum of Flight, Seattle's world-class air and space museum located at Boeing Field, site of the original Boeing manufacturing plant. Buses will depart from the UW campus at 7:00 p.m. for a 20-minute ride to the museum. During the reception you will be able to stroll through all of the Great Gallery exhibits, including 22 full-sized historic planes suspended from the ceiling, an Apollo space exhibit and a full-scale replica of an air traffic control tower. The reception will be followed by a seated dinner in the Side Gallery, prepared by one of Seattle's finest caterers. Please visit the Museum of Flight website for a preview of the museum exhibits.
