The Yeast Resource Center, directed by Professor Trisha Davis, collaborated with a large group of scientists to identify the protein-protein interactions underlying the development of cell polarity. Over one hundred new protein-protein interactions were discovered and 20 previously uncharacterized proteins were implicated in cell polarity development. The Yeast Resource Center is a collaboration of 5 research groups interested in developing new technologies to exploit the information in the sequence of the yeast genome. For more information, see the Yeast Resource Center website.
