Air Travel
The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac) is the major airport for the Pacific Northwest, so all major airlines come through this hub. August is prime tourist season for Seattle, so it's important to book as early as possible in order to ensure best fares. We would strongly encourage you to commit to a schedule as soon as you've read this paragraph!

Once you've landed: There are a number of alternatives to get from the airport to campus, from taxis as the most expensive ($35-50) to Metro buses ($1.25). A good compromise is Shuttle Express, a reliable door-to-door van shuttle for $23 to campus dorms or $16 to hotels for first traveler; less for subsequent travelers in the same group. There is a Ground Transportation Information Booth at each end of the Baggage Claim area, near Doors 6 and 26 -- they can advise you on all modes of transport.
