Cryo Electron Microscopy

The Gonen Lab hosts the Biochemistry Department's three transmission electron microscopes. See the Gonen Lab Website for details.

• Morgagni: 100kV TEM, tungsten filament, equipped with a Gatan 2 x 4 K bottom mount CCD
• T12: 120kV cryo TEM, LaB6 filament, equipped with a TV rate camera, CCD and plate camera
• TF20: 200kV cryo TEM equipped with field emission gun (FEG), TV camera, plate camera, 4k x 4k high resolution Gatan CCD
• Cryo: Two Gatan/Oxford high resolution cryo holders
• Vitrobot: FEI vitrification robot for cryo sample preparation
