Carlos Cuevas, MD
Assistant Professor of

Dr. Cuevas received his
medical degree in 1992 from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile’s School of Medicine
in Santiago, Chile. Dr. Cuevas completed
his residency in Santiago, Chile at the Universidad de Chile’s School of Medicine in 2000. After
completing his medical training as an Abdominal Imaging Fellow at the University of Washington, Dr. Cuevas joined the
staff in June of 2002 as an Acting Assistant Professor. As a fellow at
the University
of Washington, Dr.
Cuevas has implemented a CT colonography-screening program for patients
desiring non-invasive screening for colorectal cancer or patients who have
failed the endoscopy. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2005.
