André Ivanoff, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Social Work, at Columbia University, and Scholarly Affiliate, Washington State Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration. Dr. Ivanoff has authored over 50 publications on suicidal behaviors, DBT, and behavior change methods in correctional settings, and the book, Involuntary clients in Social Work practice: A research-based approach. She consults and presents nationally and internationally on suicidal behaviors, DBT in forensic and residential settings and ethical research practices. She is Co-Chair of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program Accreditation Committee and has worked with correctional and forensic systems in the U.S., Canada, and Hong Kong on DBT implementation.
