Henry Schmidt III, Ph.D.

Henry Schmidt III, Ph.D., is the President of Behavioral Affiliates, Inc, a training and consultation firm based in Seattle; he consults and presents nationally and internationally on DBT in residential and forensic settings. He is also currently the Clinical Director of the Washington State Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration. Dr. Schmidt holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology at the University of Washington where he also serves as the Chair of the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program Accreditation Committee. He is the author of several publications on behavior change and DBT in these settings.
