New to MBA Recruiting or New to the UW Business School?
If you are contemplating hiring a UW MBA for an internship or company project, or seeking a graduate for a full time position, please contact our Acting Director of Career Services, Susan Canfield, at any time. You can reach Susan at susancan@u.washington.edu or 206.616.8609.

On-Campus Recruiting
On-Campus recruiting is the preferred option of many employers. Your company can interview students on your predetermined schedules. Multiple schedules and rooms are available in the Business Connections Center. Contact Ellen Crowley at ecrowley@u.washington.edu or 206.685.3439.

Resume Drops
Many companies new to MBA recruiting or new to our school start working with us using resumes drops. We will post your position within our Intranet system as well as to our newsgroups. We will collect the resumes of interested candidates for 2-3 weeks. After reviewing the resumes you can then set up interviews with students via telephone, at your company's site, or at the Business Connections Center.

Job Postings and Limited Student Referrals
Position descriptions submitted to the Business Connections Center will generally be posted to our eRecruiting system and distributed to students via email. If you have very specific or unique requirements for a position, you may want to consult a member of our career staff about the best way to target students who are particularly interested in or well-suited for the available position. Contact us at bcc@u.washington.edu or 206.685.2410.

Increasing Company Visibility

Meet the Firm Events
Bring representatives to campus in the fall for an individual company presentation and reception to meet UW MBA Students before on-campus recruiting.

Student Clubs
Becoming involved with one or more of the student clubs is a vital part of UW MBA recruiting. The clubs can offer a variety of activities in which your company can participate to build a greater campus presence. Clubs can also send event advertisements via email and newsgroups to a targeted group of students. We recommend contacting the club presidents as soon as possible to find ways in which your company can become more involved on campus.

MBA Career Forums
The Fall MBA Career Forum will take place on October 11, 2004 in the HUB East Ballroom on the University of Washington campus. Register your company here.
