Beginning in December you will have the opportunity to visit
several different cities where you will meet University of
Washington alumni and become acquainted with a variety of
local companies. Companies around the country are familiar
with the UW Business School and its prestige, but rarely get
the opportunity to have you, the students, come to them. This
is a great time to make some contacts in different areas where
you may be interested in relocating upon completion of your
degree.
Below are the dates and locations of this year's UW MBA Road
Shows along with links to more information specific to each
locale.

The 2004- 2005 Road Show locations were chosen based on student
feedback and past experience. We know that location is important
when considering a job. We urge you to consider the cities
that are currently on the Road Show schedule and get to know
the companies located in or near the cities. You are welcome
to go to one or all locations to meet with recruiters and
alumni in the area.
What are the different activities available
for current students?
Company presentations & visits are designed to get you
face-to-face with recruiters in different areas of the country.
Although there are several opportunities for students to meet
with recruiters right here on campus, the Road Shows give
you the opportunity to meet with companies and hear about
job opportunities in a specific location.
All Road Shows include a community reception, which includes
current UW MBA students, alumni, and regional employers. Some
Road Shows (e.g. the fall Bay Area trip) include a Faculty
Lecture, designed to bring together the many different stakeholders
that make up the UW Business School community. The community
receptions are an opportunity for current students to mix
with alumni and corporate contacts for networking and to be
available as an information source to prospective or in-coming
students.
