The Foster Business Library will be closed on Thursday, Nov 27th, and will operate with reduced hours November 26th and 28th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We’ll resume regular hours on Saturday, Nov 29th.

In addition to original content, references judged relevant and important by RGE editors are also provided, often with full text links.

The noise you’re hearing today in the Foster Business Library is the demolition crews taking down a concrete wall adjacent to the library. They’re using a monster crushing tool bears some resemblance to the Jaws of Life. We are grateful that they are not using a jackhammer which would be quite a bit louder and more disturbing.
We apologize for the distraction and inconvenience. This part of the demolition work should be over soon.
Summit is the shared catalog of the 36 Washington and Oregon libraries that make up the Orbis Cascade Alliance. Beginning later this month the Alliance will begin the migration of Summit to a new software vendor. This will result in a number of modifications to Summit and Summit borrowing.
