Sep 20 - mention this change at next quarterly support meeting (Oren) [Done] 

Oct  1 - quarterly multi-topic announcement to all from C&C;
         includes ftp change note (Mark) [Done]

Oct  1 - low profile announce to public

           . info on cactools (Rick/Kathi) [Done]
           . highlight message on www/computing (Rick/Kathi) [Done]
           . possible Windows on Technology article (Rick)

Oct  2 - IS System Development Forum [Done]

Oct 8 - admin systems have sshdv2 and kftpd installed (Harold) [Done]

Oct 29 - start daily directed email warnings for UA users
         note: aagaard-only users won't be emailed by C&C (Donn/Mark) [Done]

Oct 31 - complete updates to existing web pages that refer to 'ftp' (Rick/Nathan) [Done]

TBD    - determine date for supporting sercure ftp on MCP (Heidi/Jim)

Nov  5 - WebDAV decision: not ready for primetime; need to document
         workaround solutions but continue to work WebDAV for the future. 

Nov 13 - ftp for lab Mac auth to be disabled (Brad/Dave Cox)

Nov 26 - status check on admin systems users except MCP. it was decided
         not to send reminders before - how about now?

Dec ?? - direct email to supplemental account "owners"?

Dec 10 - UWICK likely to be in bookstore by this date (Mark)

Dec 27 - disable insecure FTP
         includes all UA, admin systems, aagaard (Donn, Harold)
         anonymous ftp is not affected

TBD    - FAST system to support secure transactions (Heidi/Jim/Pat Benson)
