- async dialin questions
  . can we get number of connections?
  . can we easily enable kerberos?

- ftp woes
  . either we write a faq for changing permissions via ssh sftp
    or we make internet neighborhood easy to download again...or both

- communications
  . mark is gauging possibility of linking to information, maintained
    by departmental support staff, for clients we don't support
  . heidi's thinking about other users to target, e.g. FMS (roswell) users
  . someoe should be preparing a faq or web page that helps when
    SSL is require for IMAP. do we know the specific error message this
    produces?

- monitoring usage
  . donn is collecting imapd stats, including per-user time stamps for 
    last secure and insecure connections
  . nathan will see what, if anything, eliot's got for telnet
  . on apr 18, when warning message goes into login, we  also might
    be able to do additional logging: count secure/insecure, maybe
    log the id; this may require our own logging apparatus

- starttls support
  . it's "advertised" as a capability on current deskmail servers
  . support may throw a wrench into donn's cutover plan
  . rl bob will email email-dev group to find out current imapd status
