Notes:

Documentation discussion

- mcnair: documentation update. good shape for SSL with OE/Netscape and
  SSH/Telnet documenation. PC-Pine doc still needed.

- ryan: documentation points to auto-config tools available online
  for OE on Windows

- brad: a question. do we want to set any dates for internal-to-C&C 
  conversion to secure services before Jun 13th

- mcnair: helpdesk staff had been recommending to turn off SSL
  for better performance. 

- ryan: a question. do we want to create some sort of auto-config
  for PC-Pine?

- *to do* ryan will work with lynne (and lori?) on PC-Pine document,
  the scope of which will be to explain how to configure an existing
  PC-Pine installation to use SSL. due date: Feb 12th

- *to do* review all 'computing' documentation for use of the
  word 'telnet', to find what need editing and what needs to 
  be removed. may need TCG-approved wording for authors to use
  in its place (e.g. "connect to" rather than "telnet to") and
  a central web page for the associated end-user task (e.g. "how
  to connect to Homer/Dante/Aagaard (Securely)")

SSH/Telnet discussion

- harold: still March 11th for keynes support for ssh2

- eliot: homer02 has ssh2 now

- *to do* ryan will contact ssh.com about "showstopping" problem
  with scp client: you have to type in the host name on every
  new connection, making it impossible to create icons or pre-configured
  host lists

- ryan: in the UWICK, do we want to fiddle with the 'SSH/Telnet'
  name? users don't usually know that SSL can get them to Homer/Dante
