Abstract

This paper discusses languages and Internet use in Uzbekistan. The language policies of this multilingual country are described. Some of the results of a survey conducted in March 2003 are presented, specifically relating to Internet use, linguistic choices, and perceptions of language on the Internet. Areas for future research are suggested.
