HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES TO BUILD GSM NETWORK IN TAJIKISTAN
On May 29, it was announced that Huawei Technologies, a leading Chinese provider of next-generation telecommunications network solutions, signed a contract to build the UMTS/GSM network for Tajikistan. Under the contract, Huawei will provide a unified 2G/3G network covering the whole country. (China Industry Daily News, May 29)
